Matthew Stuart McAfee
Mr. McAfee is President of HomeGuard Title & Trust and has more than 15 years experience in the title industry. Since starting the company in 2004, Mr. McAfee has been involved in the operations and vision of the company. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from The University of Florida Law School, where he graduated with high honors and was a member of the University of Florida Law Review and he obtained his Artium Baccalaureatus from Duke University. Mr. McAfee is a senior partner in the Jacksonville law firm of Driver, McAfee, Peek & Hawthorne, P.L.

Patricia Chorpening

Ms. Chorpening is Vice President and Manager of HomeGuard Title and Trust. A former realtor, she's been actively involved in the real estate industry for over 20 years, and an escrow officer for fifteen. Ms. Chorpening is a member of Jacksonville's Small Business Resource Network and the Jacksonville Women's Business Center. Her goal at every closing is to run the entire process stress-free for both clients and their customers.

Mary Claire Miller

Ms. Miller is Vice President of Operations of HomeGuard Title and Trust. Ms. Miller has been practicing in the real estate industry for over 15 years. As a previous owner/manager of her own law firm specializing in residential real estate, she is experienced in representing buyers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions. Ms. Miller received her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law with high honors and was a member of Order of the Coif and a member of the Florida State University Law Review and the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Florida State University.
